UPCOMING EVENTS
International Trip and Events.
We are delighted to announce that the Scotland Under16 Players have put together a squad for the trip to
12 Players and 2 Netminders will be travelling to, and taking part in the
AAU Junior Olympics Games in July 2007.
The hard work is not yet done. We, the Steering Group would ask all members of FSHA to support these Coaches, Managers and Players in every way possible. This is a wonderful achievement for FSHA to reach this level of hockey.
As promised we will continue to search for a way forward for all other age groups.
I can say at this point that Gordon Alder GBHI Under 14 Manager has put forward a proposal for the Under 10 and Under 12 age Groups.
The proposal put to GBHI is that we hold and International Event in
Invitations will hopefully include:
BELGIUM
This event would take place over a long weekend. This minimises impact on families finance and holiday commitments for 2007.
It is early days, but we do believe that this will encourage the younger players that currently play hockey and hopefully send out the right signals to potential new players.
The Steering Group will continue to look at options as and when they become available for the Under 14 and Under 18 age Groups.

INTERNATIONAL TRIP
Our aim is to take all age groups into an International Competition.
Our objective is to keep costs as low as is possible.
We, the Steering Group are meeting regular, working to a timeline.
The feedback from Academy training is extremely encouraging.
We are waiting for the International Organisations to release dates and venues.
We are poised, ready to go forward on release of this information.
Fundraising activities are being programmed into the calendar
